Reality begins to bend when an author, Shaw (Edem Atsu-Swanzy, HBO's Shameless) and his wife, Syd (Every Heart, TBS' The Guest Book) take a trip to a remote house in the desert to write his new science fiction novel. Shaw's story begins to infect his mind as visions of a coming apocalypse cause him to question the very world around him.
